South India Yatra 2018

Very soon after taking sanyas Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu started his South India tour visiting various holy places there. Lord visited Sri Kūrma-kṣetra, which is one of three famous temples of Lord Kūrma.  Apart from this, He visited other holy places during His tour including: Simhachalan (famous temple of Lord Varah Narsihma), Kovoor where He met Śrī Rāmānanda Rāya at the banks of Godavari, Antarvedi which has famous temple of Lord Nrsimhadeva, and Pānākal-narasiṁha temple at Mangal Giri near Vijayawada. As sung by Bhaktivinoda Thakura,  “gaur āmāra, je-saba sthāne, koralo bhramaṇa rańge, se-saba sthāna, heribo āmi, praṇayi-bhakata-sańge“, following the foot steps of Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu,  His Holiness Bhakti Rasamrita Swami Maharaj  led the yatra to these places in South India from 13th Oct to 19th Oct 2018. Govardhana Yatra 2017

Within the holy Vraj dham, are twelve sacred forests where Lord Krishna enjoyed many transcendental pastimes. Of these twelve forests, the forest of Vrindavan is considered to be the most sacred. Situated in the middle of the Vrindavan forest is the transcendental mountain known as Govardhan. Upon the slopes of this transcendental mountain Lord Krishna enjoyed innumerable childhood pastimes.  Situated 14 miles west of  Mathura, Govardhan, also known as  Giriraj,  is the sacred center of Vraja. South India Yatra 2015


Tirupati or the Lord of the Seven Hills resides in a sacred town that was an established center of Vaishnavism and is one of the 108 Divya Desams mentioned in the works of the Alvars. The temple rites were formalized by Sri Ramanujacharya in the 11th century A.D.

Ahobilam is the place where Lord Narasimha appeared and killed the demon Hiranyakasipu and saved His devotee, Prahalad. It contains nine Narasimhasthalas  namely 1. Jwala Narasimha 2. Ahobila Narasimha 3. Malola Narasimha 4. Kroda Narasimha 5. Karanja Narasimha 6. Bhargava Narasimha 7. Yogananda Narasimha 8. Kshatravata Narasimha and 9. Pavana Narasimha.

Ayodhya and Naimasaranya Yatra, 2014


Ayodhya is the place of birth of Lord Ramachandra and the capital city of the kingdom over which Lord Ramachandra ruled after His return from exile and is closely associated with the pastimes of Lord Ramachandra.

On the southern side of Sapta Tila, on the banks of the Gomati River is the forest of Naimisaranya. At this place in the beginning of Kali yuga, 33,000 sages headed by Saunaka Rishi heard the Srimad Bhagavatam from Sri Suta Gosvami.
